Cool Science at UCCS

Description: The "COOL SCIENCE at UCCS" event is a community wide street fair with a "STEM" twist, STEM being Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. This high energy adventure will provide hours of fun with exciting hands-on activities and workshops for all ages. This FREE event will provide intimidation-free opportunities to explore the joy of science and engineering.

The COOL SCIENCE organization is a local non-profit made up of enthusiastic scientists, engineers and educators with the goal of getting Pikes Peak area K-12 students, parents, and teachers to see science as "Cool".

This event is co-sponsored by the UCCS Center for STEM Education. It will be held at the UCCS University Center, 1420 Austin Bluffs Parkway from 9am until 3pm. The day will be highlighted with two "Magic of Science" shows in the Science auditorium at 9am and 1pm.
